Positive: Elliot was such a kind host and was easily reachable whenever my friends & I needed something. the home had all the kitchen and bathroom essentials, and the neighborhood was easily walkable to Magazine St. & the St. Charles trolley. this was my first time in New Orleans, i will be back!

Positive: The apartment is two floors, with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor, so there was plenty of space and privacy. The price gets you far more value than you'll get at a similarly priced mid-tier hotel, including the back porch and washer/dryer, along with relative peace and quiet (sleep came easily). There are lots of modern touches and stylish flair while still providing the comfort of a home, along with an attentive host who checked in periodically to ensure all was well. A quick and inexpensive Uber ride to the French Quarter, Garden District and loads of other attractions. Highly recommended.

Negative: Wasn't an issue for us at all, but be aware that there is a flight of stairs to enter the apartment and a spiral staircase in the apartment to get to the 2nd floor. Perhaps just something to consider with youngsters and elders.

Positive: We truly enjoyed our stay at The Bird’s Nest. The location is very convenient to downtown—only about a 10-minute Uber ride. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We experienced one minor issue during our visit, but the host was responsive and resolved it immediately. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here.

Positive: The place is cool, well lit and with good amenities (TVs, kitchen, wifi). The location is also convenient and close to the street car and local stores.

Negative: Hospitality management was almost non-existent. Hotel/rental stays should be well cleaned and organized prior to a new guest. The apartment was not ready for new guests, with various very dusty counter tops, bathrooms that were at best cleaned at surface level, and missing towels and sheets. The first floor bathroom toilet was not properly cleaned, sheets, blankets and towels were not available or poorly placed. Overall, the lack of preparation of the apartment made for an uncomfortable stay despite the fairly high price of the stay. One expects a clean and ready room when paying for accomodations on booking, and this was not what was received.

Positive: I loved everything about the place. From the hospitality to the location! The host is very friendly and even invited us with his friends to hang out. The location is in garden district which was fairly close to everything. The unit had a washer and dryer, a desk area which was good cuz my queen works from home. At one point we couldn’t find the remote for the tv upstairs so in place of it the host brought us a different tv! He remodeled the entire place after working on it for 12 years, so I totally understand the effort that he put into it. We will most definitely stay here again
